About Communication Electronic Systems

               Frank Ellis moved to Las Vegas in 1972 to finish his service in the United States Air Force. By 1977 he started Ellis Industrial Electronics. During this time the company was upgrading fire alarm systems in hotels like the Sahara, Tropicana, Rivera and Hilton. The company became common name to the construction industry to the point where he was made an offer and sold the company. Frank followed up by starting Lifestyles Music which provided audio video services to commercial establishments in San Diego and Las Vegas. Lifestyles was eventually sold and Communication Electronic Systems was formed in 1997. During the beginning of CES family members Robin and Dave came on board as did Brian Thomas manager of the Lifestyles location in San Diego.  Josh Claunch  was made partner in January 2014. CES has steadily grown to become one of the leading low voltage contractors in the state of Nevada. Frank also began Ellis Properties a general contracting company and acquired DB Electric.
